PERT charts
A pert chart is a business management tool that helps businesses plan out tasks that need to be completed.
the pert chart does this by taking into account what tasks need to be done, how long it will take to do these tasks, and in which order these tasks should be carried out. for example in the image below you can see:
as you can see the numbers represent milestones and tasks are completed in between, milestones can have one or more tasks coming off of it and this means that these tasks arent constricted by any other tasks. a pert chart can also help companies divide up the work between employees. for example, in the image above, the first milestone has two tasks that can be completed from it- Create schedule, Buy hardware. this means that an employee can be set to do each task in order to speed up the time it takes for both tasks to be completed.
